Wonderful atmosphere, great food and fantastic staff! Also, a famous shooting location for the scene from "Trainspotting" where Begbie (played by Robert Carlyle) throws a pint over his shoulder :D The venue has changed quite drastically from the days when Renton and his posse of Edinburgh druggies were there, but it still has the railing upstairs - the perfect opportunity to re-create the scene - maybe not with a real pint though ;). If you are ever in Glasgow, don't miss this!

Most people don't even know this bar is here. That includes me, it has been about for years but I only visited for the first time recently for lunch. The decor inside is industrial pipes and wood and the rebrand looks great IMO. The staff were amazingly friendly and there seems to be lots of great beer options available. Including several brew dog lines, I recommend the Elvis grapefruit infused spa. Food wise their big USP is that they focus on rotisserie chicken which they do a great job with. Food was very reasonably priced and tasty. All in a great place for a beer or food. Also dog friendly!
